The Problem
As Fairfax County’s Commonwealth’s Attorney, Steve Descano has repeatedly chosen ideology over the safety of the communities he was elected to protect. He calls it reform, Fairfax County calls it dangerous.
The Solution
The solution starts at the ballot box. Steve Descano has repeatedly chosen the side of violent criminals over the victims and families of Fairfax County by releasing dangerous offenders back into our communities, refusing to prosecute cases that demand justice, and turning his back on the very people he swore to protect.
CARVO is committed to making sure Descano is not reelected and replacing him with a prosecutor who believes that the first duty of a Commonwealth’s Attorney is to the safety of our community. We are actively working to identify and support a candidate who will prosecute violent criminals, stand unwaveringly with victims and their families, and restore the promise that Fairfax County will never again be a place where violent offenders walk free while victims are left without justice.
